The Saint John's Bible is being created in a scriptorium in Wales by Donald Jackson, internationally renowned calligraphy and Scribe to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Crown Office at the House of Lords. In 1985, he was decorated by the Queen with the Medal of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO) which is awarded for personal service to the Sovereign.
